NSCDC Gombe Deploys 700 Officers for Eid-el-Fitr Celebration

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Gombe State Command has deployed 700 Officers and Men across the State to provide security coverage for the forthcoming 2026 Eid-el-Fitr Salah celebration, slated for March 19th - 21st.
This was contained in a statement signed by Public Relation Officer of the state Command, Buhari Saad, Chief Superintendent Of Corps, CD-PRO, and made available to Gombe Reporters.
The deployed Officers will work collaboratively with other sister security agencies to ensure a hitch-free Sallah Celebration across the State.
The deployment covers Eid prayer grounds, Hawan Durbar, recreational centres, markets, motor parks, and other public places, including critical National assets, both public and private.
The State Commandant of Corps, CC Jibrin Idris, tasked officers and Men to ensure a peaceful Sallah celebration.
He emphasized the importance of vigilance and professionalism in maintaining law and order during the festive period.
He also wished all Muslims in Gombe State and Nigeria at large a happy Sallah Celebration.
The Commandant urged residents and visitors to go about their activities peacefully and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
He assured that NSCDC, in collaboration with other security agencies, is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
